Friday, 4:45 p.m. update: A full day after the road closed, Stringtown Road reopened, Washington County said.
A tree fell on Stringtown Road Thursday evening, taking electric lines with it, resulting in a road closure between Gales Creek Road and Ritchie Road, Washington County Land Use and Transportation said.
The county’s roads department urged motorists to find another route.
