Cpl. Jeremy Braun looks toward returning to work after being shot in line of duty
"The valley of the shadow of death is very small, very narrow, and you have to go through it alone," said Corporal Jeremy Braun of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
After being shot at close range with a shotgun near Hagg Lake nearly six months ago, Cpl. Braun spoke about his recovery, the shooting, his family, and his intention to return to work.

Timber Unity convoys from throughout Oregon expected to descend on Salem on Thursday
A thousand log trucks, semi-trucks, dump trucks, well drilling equipment and more vehicles are expected to converge on Salem on Thursday, February 6 to protest SB 1530 as part of a Timber Unity effort to protest cap-and-trade legislation. Locally, convoys will begin early Thursday morning in Tillamook and at the North Plains weigh station.
