Heat advisory issued for Sunday as triple digits loom in forecast
The Portland office of the National Weather Service issued a heat advisory for the greater Portland metro region, including some portions of western Washington County, which goes into effect from 8:00 a.m. Sunday, July 26 to 9:00 p.m. Monday, July 27.

Governor Brown expands face mask requirements to children
In a press conference held just after 11 a.m., Governor Kate Brown announced new measures to attempt to slow the increasing spread of COVID-19 in Oregon, including requiring children five and older to wear face coverings at indoor public spaces — including in schools — among other new rules.
