One year after shooting, Wash. Co. Sheriff's Officer Cpl. Braun shares recovery update
One year ago today, Cpl. Jeremy Braun and deputy Chris Iverson were shot in a gunfight after reports came in of a theft of firearms from a home near Hagg Lake. In a video update release exactly one year after the incident, Braun shared his process of recovery and his hopes for the future.

Stream restoration projects continue on Gales Creek in Tillamook Forest
Over the past two years, staff from the Oregon Department of Forestry and the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife have planted 1,000 western red cedars along a mile-long stretch of Gales Creek in the Tillamook State Forest.

Fall sports season moved to spring, seasons condensed
The fall sports season will be shifted to spring 2021, seasons will be condensed, and out-of-season coaching restrictions will be waived, the Oregon School Activities Association (OSAA) said in a Wednesday, August 5 press release issued after the OSAA executive board meeting.
