Thur Oct 15 – A fine day. Did up usual work. Then I made Gladie’s brown rayon dress, got it made by 11:30. Today is first day of China season. C.D. got a jack rabbit. Billie & Ike came down late in evening to hunt but got none. Gladie went out some place after supper.
Fri Oct 16 – A nice day. We did our usual work and ironed. Billie and Elsie came in after noon, stayed for supper. Billie had a big boil on his neck. Matt stayed here all nite.
Sat Oct 17 – A nice day. We just did morning work. Troy & Leon came over got pears to take to Tillamook. After noon Gladle & I went to F.G. took in a show, “Women of All Nations”, Edmond Low and Victor McLaughlin.
Sun Oct 18 – Cloudy. I made a cream cake. Killed a chicken. Billie, Elsie, Ronnie and Aunt Belle came about 11 o’clock here all day. Gladie went up around Cochran in p.m. & to a show “The Brat” I stayed home all day. Aunt Belle stayed all nite. Charley sold 3 heifers to Bob Banks, got $60 for 3.
Mon Oct 19 – A fine day. We did up work. Charley went to town. Aunt Belle went away. He payed taxes today, over $80. I made over my black fur coat into a jacket. Ted & Thelma came about 4:30, stayed for supper.
Tue Oct 20 – A nice day. I put out a wash. Then made a black teddy bear and little dog for Ronnie & Joanne. Made Joanne a little red gingham dress.
Wed Oct 21 – Cloudy. We did up work, then Gladie and I went up to Camp, spent day with Billie & Elsie, it began to rain about one. Rained hard the rest of day and nite.
