The Oregon State Police released additional details following a fatal crash that saw Highway 6 closed for about five hours on Friday.
Highway 6 is closed east of Tillamook due to a fatal crash, the Tillamook County Sheriff’s Office said Friday morning.
Gales Creek Road was closed Friday morning at Stringtown Rd after a car crashed and became engulfed in flames. There were no injuries, Forest Grove Fire & Rescue said.
Highway 6 is closed following a vehicle crash and fire.
A crash near the summit of the Coast Range on Highway 6 Saturday has resulted in a closure at milepost 33 until law enforcement and road crews can clear the crash and ODOT deems the highway safe to travel on.
