Tillamook Forest Center prepares to reopen with volunteer work party
On Saturday, March 1 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., volunteers are needed to help clean exhibits, tag items in the center’s gift shop, and otherwise spruce up the center, located on Highway 6 between Tillamook and Gales Creek.

Annual Wassail party back in Gales Creek Dec. 19
The Annual Wassail party, held every year in December at the Gales Creek School library is back December 19 from 6 to 8 p.m.
CPO 13 will not meet in December
The Gales Creek, Verboort and Roy CPO 13, which usually meets in Banks, will meet next on January 15, opting to skip their December meeting for the holidays. Those interested in an effort to overhaul the half-century old program can attend a Tuesday meeting for more info.
